You ever been with your buddies and brought up such a moronic idea that it doesn't even merit a response? If so, you might work for the LPGA.
Luckily, after announcing that next year you would be basically forced to learn the flawless (and easy!) language of English to continue playing golf on the LPGA, that little golf organization decided that might not be the best idea.
Today, they announced that contrary to the initial reports, there would be no penalty or suspension from the tour if you failed to pass an oral English exam. That noise you just heard was half the LPGA sighing.
Honestly, who didn't see this coming? The idea seemed so elementary that it was only days before someone brought up the legality of such a request and the LGPA would have to re-evaluate.
At least they got their 15 minutes of fame. You couldn't get sports journalists as a whole this heated about the LPGA if they had an orgy next week on the 15th hole.
